e2i serves as a bridge between workers and employers, connecting with workers to offer job security through job-matching, career guidance and skills upgrading services, and partnering employers to address their manpower needs through recruitment, training and job redesign solutions. e2i is a tripartite initiative of the National Trades Union Congress set up to support nation-wide manpower and skills upgrading initiatives.

Career Conversion Programmes

Career Conversion Programmes (CCPs) are placement programmes targeted at mid-career switchers, to undergo skills conversion and move into new occupations or sectors that have good prospects and opportunities for progression. Trainees will undergo structured on-the-job training to transit into the new job role.

Place and Train without Conversion Programmes

Trainees will undergo structured on-the-job training of up to three months to be upskilled into their new job roles. e2i works with our partners to develop such programmes to help address manpower shortages in many industries and to tackle skills-gaps among job seekers interested in taking on the available jobs.

Professional Development Programmes

e2i works with businesses to create customised professional development programmes which can range from one-off half day masterclasses to in-house training modules and week-long courses for their employees and other select participants.
